Participants of the Holy Land Tour expressed their delightfulness from the final day of the 2018 Holy Land Tour.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome– the founder of the renowned Christ Embassy Church has organized the final day of the 2018 Holy Tour as a “day to remember”. The week-ling visit to Israel was designed to play a crucial role in the spiritual success of the believers and followers of Pastor Chris and the Church. The trip was divided into four different groups, each accompanying the Pastor at crucial moments and sites. The Holy Land Tour aims to connect Christ believers with the Land of Jesus, expanding their understanding of the Bible and scripture, and thus connecting them to the Jewish land on a new level of faith. The entire tour was broadcasted and covered extensively by the news agencies, social media, and multiple streaming websites. The organization have thus declared the visit as “an overwhelming success”.

The day began while one of the groups still resided in Jordan, a neighboring country to Israel. They visited the city of Jerash. It is a city of the Decapolis and the site of the ruins of a Greco-Roman city. The site is filled with historical and biblical references dating back centuries. The Biblical Holy Land is not just in Israel, it spreads out to other modern-day countries such as Jordan, making this tour an opportunity to experience new countries.Participants expressed how amazed were they by the rich archeological diversity the site offered. They shared that “it was a moment in which Christians could understand, first hand, where Jesus resided and what He went through in His life.”

The participants were then served at a traditional Lebanese restaurant in Jerash, Jordan. The group received a warm welcome and had the chance to try traditional food and drink. The Holy Land Tour provides the opportunity not only to connect to the scripture but also to experience the diverse culture of Middle East.

The group went back to Israel by crossing the Allenby Bridge border. The Allenby Bridge, which is also known as the King Hussein Bridge connects the West Bank with Jordan and crosses the Jordan River. Other than through the West Bank, the bridge is currently the sole designated exit/entry point for West Bank Palestinians traveling in and out of the region.

To wrap up the day and the Holy Land Tour itself, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Benny Hinn are prepared to host a charity gala at Olmaya Hall, Jerusalem. The event will feature a ministration from the Man of God, leading his followers closer to Jesus and their faith. Invited guests include local and international members of the Evangelical community as well as supporters from the Jewish community and fans of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. The Jerusalem Orchestra will also be there.

The ministration before the Gala will be broadcasted live tonight (Thursday the 17th of May), at 6PM (GMT+1) or 8PM Israel time. Those who want to watch the livestream can follow the official broadcast links on YouTube and Facebook:

Aug 19, 2018

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump's Veterans Day parade has been canceled after senior White House and Pentagon leaders saw the estimated $92 million price tag. And that set off a volley of tweets and accusations between the president and the mayor of the nation's capital. The drama that unfolded Thursday and Friday also highlighted, not for the first time, a disconnect between the Pentagon and the White House when it comes to turning some of Trump's ideas into reality.

Judge tells US officials, ACLU to come up with asylum plan

Aug 19, 2018

SAN DIEGO — A federal judge on Friday called on the U.S. government and the American Civil Liberties Union to come up with a plan to address the rights of parents and children separated at the U.S.-Mexico border to seek asylum. The request was made during a hearing a day after U.S. District Judge Dana Sabraw extended a freeze on deportations of recently reunified families, giving a reprieve to hundreds of children and their parents who want to remain in the United States. Sabraw wrote in issuing the order that "hasty removal of these children and their parents at the...

Trump blames DC, as military parade plans unravel over costs

Aug 19, 2018

WASHINGTON — The cancellation of President Donald Trump's Veterans Day parade came swiftly when senior White House and Pentagon leaders saw the estimated $92 million price tag play out in public, setting off a chaotic volley of tweets and accusations between the president and the mayor of the nation's capital. The drama that unfolded Thursday and Friday also highlighted, not for the first time, a disconnect between the Pentagon and the White House when it comes to turning some of Trump's more mercurial ideas into reality. While Defense Secretary Jim Mattis dismissed the price estimate for the parade as fiction...

Lawyers: Discharged Army specialist granted US citizenship

Aug 19, 2018

LOS ANGELES — A South Korean-born U.S. Army specialist who sued after the military moved to discharge her has been granted citizenship, her attorneys said Friday. Yea Ji Sea, 29, had filed a lawsuit last month demanding a response to her citizenship application. She came to the country as a child on a visitor visa and held other visas before enlisting in 2013 under a special government program for foreign citizens who want to serve in the U.S. military. Under the program, recruits agreed in their enlistment contracts to apply to naturalize as soon as their honorable service was certified....

A focused Mackenzie Phillips takes it one day at a time

Aug 19, 2018

LOS ANGELES — Mackenzie Phillips, who's upending expectations with her portrayal of a brutal inmate on "Orange is the New Black," deserves another look off-screen as well. Phillips has battled addiction and made disturbing sexual abuse allegations well before such revelations were common, and she's forthright when asked to look back at those dark chapters. But it's the work that's keeping her busy and fulfilled now — whether acting or helping people address addiction at a Southern California treatment facility — that she'd rather concentrate on. Her personal life also is "fantastic," she said, including her relationships with her half-siblings...
