Lighthouse Treatment Center Hosts Alumni Bowling Night

April 11, 2022 - /PressAdvantage/ - Anaheim, California - Lighthouse Treatment Center, a drug and alcohol treatment facility in Anaheim, California hosted an alumni bowling night on March 19, 2022, as a part of its Lighthouse Alumni Program calendar for the year. The Lighthouse alumni, clients, and staff attended the event held at the Bowlero in Fullerton.

According to Sara Alba, Alumni Coordinator of the Lighthouse, the bowling outing was a perfect activity for a night of fun and fellowship.

“In planning our alumni events, we always aim to create opportunities for our clients and alumni to connect and establish healthy relationships in recovery. Hosting this bowling night is one of the activities that turns out successfully because it’s something that everyone can enjoy,” said Alba.

Kim K., one of the alumni who attended the event, shared that she appreciated that she could bring her family in a wholesome event.

“I was so grateful that I could bring my family to a safe and sober event. I was able to reconnect with friends and make new connections,” said Kim.

Even Lighthouse alumni like Veronica S. who are not bowling enthusiasts found the event enjoyable as it provided them with new ideas on how to have fun while in recovery.

“I am not that great at bowling but the Lighthouse always provides opportunities to try new things in an encouraging group of friends. I always leave lifted up and motivated to make my recovery a priority,” said Veronica.
